Live at Saki with Miles Raymer, Joe McAdam and Daniel Knox

Miles Raymer is a music writer for the Chicago Reader and bassist in Mannequin Men. He no longer lives in Michigan.

Joe McAdam hosts Creative Control at Saki, co-hosts "The Late Live Show" and steals everything I've ever said. He is funny. Godzilla exists.

Daniel Knox is my favorite.

Thanks to Saki for letting us celebrate their second anniversary.

Sean Gray tells me all about his experience seeing the 2011 incarnation of the Smashing Pumpkins. Ha!

Episode 156, Live at the Looking Glass with Daniel Knox, Chris MacDonald, Michael Foody and Judson Claiborne

Daniel Knox opens and closes the show. If you've ever listened, you know he's my favorite. If you haven't, welcome. Daniel Knox is my favorite songwriter.

Chris MacDonald from IndieFeed is a swell guy.

Michael Foody is my favorite D.C. stand up comic.

Judson Claiborne is a fantastic Americana (I hope they don't mind that tag) band

A super long, super fun holiday show.

Episode 107, Live at the Hungry Brain with Thomas Conner, Marty Derosa and Daniel Knox

The live show! It starts poorly and ends not poorly! My mom was there! So there's that!

Thomas Conner is the pop music critic at the Chicago Sun Times. He was the first guest of the evening. I asked him what Chicago acts he was following. I suggested BBU, Daniel Knox and White Mystery. Today Mr. Conner wrote a great piece about 10 Chicago artists worth following. Guess who's on the list? I am very powerful and influential.

Marty Derosa was in a short film I made entitled "Look at Things and Try New Drinks". That has nothing to do with his comedy. Choking does have something to do with his comedy.

Daniel Knox is my favorite songwriter. Now Thomas loves him too. I am very powerful and influential.

Read Thomas Conner's piece, "Hot Chicago: 10 local bands on the rise" here.

Watch the preview for a film Marty was kind enough to star in.

Watch a Daniel Knox video I made. It's sad. I think. I hope.

Episode 11 with Daniel Knox

An interview with the gentleman who writes the music for the show. Talk of sneaking into hotels, making films for friends and numbers that will make everything all right.
